The Fly-for-Tots Charity Fly-in on September 16-18 in just north of Raleigh, North Carolina promises a weekend of fun for the entire family. Add it to your calendar as you wrap up the summer’s fun events.

Highlights include:
Remote controlled jet airplanes of various sizes, styles and character
Aerobatic planes big and small
World War II Military planes
Flying pigs, lawnmowers, leaf blowers and who knows what else?
Noon-time demonstrations by expert RC pilots
A few full-sized, real airplanes
Candy dropped from cargo holds on various large-scale model planes for kids to collect on the ground. It’s raining candy, Mom!
Food, cold drinks
Saturday night barbecue and live music
Night flying with model planes running lights, a totally different experience for spectators
Free FLIGHT SIMULATOR – Guru Aviation set up during the in their air-conditioned 48′-long flight simulator trailer. This is your chance to try your hand at flying RC aircraft without fear of crashing your plane — and it’s free! The folks at Guru Aviation will have you up and in the air in no time.
Admission to the event is free for the public. Pilots pay $20. to participate. Raffles for all sorts of prizes have raised thousands of dollars for children’s charities. One hundred percent of the funds raised goes to charity.
